From the front it's not wow, since it looks almost identical to the X5 (I was told that the bonnet is the identical part number as in the X5), but from the rear and sides it really catches your attention.

I like the fact that it doesn't look that big, it just doesn't occupy the same space in your eyes as an X5, and that makes it look smaller than it is. It really looks and feels like a more compact and elegant X5 (despite BMW telling me its not an X5 coupe). I spent a good hour or so looking round it and can't wait to see one on the road. Having now seen it in the metal I cannot believe that it won't be a great sales success, it's really appealing unless you need the X5s space.
