Dealer called: X50i ordered.

Black/Black ALL OPTIONS. Still working on leather dash...

Just read below and looks like no leather dash for 50i...I too will wait for 09 build.

Nope. No leather dash for another 4-5 months until '09s can be ordered in October production.

So, after I fired my dad's first salesman for being stupid, we found another at another stealership. I told him our situtation and before I could finish, he was already ringing the district sales representative. I love good service.

The district sales rep. said we were the "1,000 person to request leather dash" on the X6. She is going to see what she can do and get back to us next week.

So, we may have a week 33 production MY08 X6 50i with leather dash.....

I'll let you know.

Matt

Even without the leather dash, the X6's interior is great.

With the exception of the centre console in the rear, what's so different between the X5 and X6 interior?

Am I the only one who see's BMW's vision here?!

The X6 and X5 are two different SAV's. The design, the purpose, the vehicle dynamics are different, IMO, very different between the X5 and X6.

I know. But interiors are the same. I would never question BMW's ability to build a vehicle that can handle and perform brilliantly. Heck, they can make a plain-jane hatch fun to drive.
