That's the same thing I said....the owner stated the dealership told her they were oem wheels. I'll search and see what I can dig up.......Phil

Ugly on Ugly... ...Nice!

I've seen just one on the road since they came out...In this economic climate no one is biting on the over-priced X6...

Of course the dealers are going to talk it up. Everything and anything is always selling like hot cakes....7-series, X5s, X6es, M3s, etc. Puh-leeze. They're hurting. Maybe not as bad as GM and Ford dealers, but they're hurting.

Saw 2 yesterday...one in Brooklyn (VR) and the other downtown Manhattan (Blk). First thing out of my mouth was "sexy mother******" coincidentally as i was listening to the same song by Prince. Immediately after seeing the VR X6 i saw a newer Range Rover and thought to myself, now that was once an attractive design (to me)...but the last time i recall reacting the way i did, it was to the following cars: X5 4.6iS; Aston Martin DBS; M6. It's rare that i react as an adolescent busting a nut to his first issue of playboy (pardon my french ). In regard to the X6, BMW has manifested itself yet again (to me at least). I will now admit, it has officially grown on me. I braked (when i saw the VR) as if i just saw the sexiest woman walking out of a salon in SOHO...or the first time i saw Adriana Lima on a catwalk...it was an immediate attraction and acknowledgement of sexy. Some things must simply be seen in person, her curves, lines, stance, growl...i believe BMW has brought sexy back... ...

When you turn her on i can only imagine that she returns the favor, and then some

I finally saw a tasman green one up close and personal while passing it in traffic on the LIE yesterday. The thing commands attention. Its stature with a high, wide rear end keeps you guessing what the rest of the vehicle will look like, not to mention it's not as common as an X5. I'd rate it somewhere between not-too-bad and I'm-impressed in terms of design... though I still like the X5 lines more. But the X6 is not as bad as I thought it would be from pics. I think it definitely succeeds in looking like a sports coupe/sedan that you should not mess with - it looks bad-ass in person, at least while in motion. I wish I got to hear the engine though.

I question this about brake dust. I realize people don't have time to clean it every week, but once in a while will keep it from making the fronts completely black like I've seen. They simply don't care, but they cared enough to get a sweet car.
