I don't know much about this except what I have read here, but just from the above posts: - It used to be a factory option, now it is a dealer option. That suggests that your sales advisor may not know much about it, as it will be purchased through the parts/service area. There is a price given in the link for the option, and it notes that labour is not included, so they will have to build a service department quote.
- Not all dealers appear to have access to the performance options; on the link above for dealer accessories, it invites you to enter your zip code to search for the nearest dealer that does carry it. Perhaps your dealer doesn't. Try the search.
- For the 50i, it is only software, not exhaust
- The software only applies to vehicles built up to 4/10. Maybe there is a different part number for later models, but it may not be available. To find out, first you need to determine which dealers in your area have access to the performance options.
