I saw this few days back when H posted. My question is what makes you think its a "BMW owned test mule" car and not someone poser?
BTW, X6 facelift is due next year so keep your eyes peeled for the test mules. X6 M and partially X5 M will also get some facelift elements at the same time.

X5Sport is on a distinguished road
Looking at the state of the front right tyre, I would be very surprised if this was a test mule. If that car was seen in the UK the driver would probably be talking to a Police officer in short order. I can't imagine BMW driving an official test car around in that state. Looks like a 'wannabee' to me.

My thoughts from German Car Forum.. No manufactures plates.I would be very surprised to learn that BMW would allow "Kit/Aftermarket" companies to utilize/incorporate anything officially "M" into their products.I thought the official "M" logo/brand would be a sacrosanct core brand design element....up there with the Hofmeister Kink and twin kidney grills.I would find it hard to believe that BMW allows the "M" logo and "M" side vent gills to be used in aftermarket kits.Maybe the "magic" with this car is underneath. Also, to another posters point....maybe the "lack" of psycho tape, blacked out roundels,etc... is a new direction in camo. The aforementioned items are such a tip off to something is new about this car.I'm still stumped!! Thanks. PalBay

Still not sure what's up w/ this car.On the hunt for the facelifts!!!! Thanks PalBay
