Spy Pic's-Is BMW Testing Another X6 "M" Model??

I'm not sure what this car is about. These pic's first ran at BMWBlog Why is BMW testing an X6 xDrive35i with the X6M bodykit? . I've never seen an xdrive 3.5i X6 with what appears to be full on "M" branding elements. The "M" logo's and "M" side vent gills are all there.... along with the real deal "M" front fascia.I don't think this is the Sport Package/Performance Package...different front fascia for the aforementioned kit's.The two small round exhaust finishers would make you believe this car has the 3.5i engine.I'm stumped??? Thanks PalBay

I saw this few days back when H posted. My question is what makes you think its a "BMW owned test mule" car and not someone poser?
BTW, X6 facelift is due next year so keep your eyes peeled for the test mules. X6 M and partially X5 M will also get some facelift elements at the same time.

Looking at the state of the front right tyre, I would be very surprised if this was a test mule. If that car was seen in the UK the driver would probably be talking to a Police officer in short order. I can't imagine BMW driving an official test car around in that state. Looks like a 'wannabee' to me.

My thoughts from German Car Forum.. No manufactures plates.I would be very surprised to learn that BMW would allow "Kit/Aftermarket" companies to utilize/incorporate anything officially "M" into their products.I thought the official "M" logo/brand would be a sacrosanct core brand design element....up there with the Hofmeister Kink and twin kidney grills.I would find it hard to believe that BMW allows the "M" logo and "M" side vent gills to be used in aftermarket kits.Maybe the "magic" with this car is underneath. Also, to another posters point....maybe the "lack" of psycho tape, blacked out roundels,etc... is a new direction in camo. The aforementioned items are such a tip off to something is new about this car.I'm still stumped!! Thanks. PalBay

Still not sure what's up w/ this car.On the hunt for the facelifts!!!! Thanks PalBay

Also, the finish on the front quarter panel does not match the door (or come even close.) The crease in the front quarter panel also does not match upto the door crease. IMHO, someone who had 65K, but not 90K wanted the look.)

Plus, didn't they finally move to Bridgestone's as stock/standard?

Guys...help me out here.So you can purchase aftermarket/knockoff correctly sized rear deck X6 "M" logo's and/or aftermarket/knockoff correctly sized X6 "M" front fenders and/or correctly sized X6 "M" front fender gills? The front fascia is a dead ringer for the OEM X6 "M" front fascia.Where do you buy and have this stuff installed ???? Did not realize BMW would look the other way when their "M" brand stuff is used in knockoff parts and pieces.Just curious about this underbelly/knockoff world that seems to exist out there. Thanks much.PalBay
