I'm confused....is the runflat issue because you are worried about the tire blowing out? Can't you get a space-saver spare?

I took the run flats off my X6 and it feels WAY better...I would never go back.

I will get a space saver spare. I've gone through 5 or 6 tires on the M, between blowouts and those massive rears picking up all kinds of metal. It's a girlie thing I guess. I'm really don't feel like getting stuck on the side of the road.

Decisions, decisions....

I went to look at the cognac/black Napa and don't like it at all. So, do I go with BSM on black leather with brushed aluminum again or grow a set and try Coral Red/Black leather?

I like the way the X6 looks in white but I've had Black envy for three years so I'm 99.9% positive on the BSM.

Thoughts?

mD -

I have to do Black. I really miss it - I'm sure that will wear off quick but what do you think of the red interior. Too much...

I like that interior color, a lot!
Course I wear pink/salmon colored golf shirts regularly, so I am not objective.

I think it is a neat/different color, and with you in the driver's seat, it will look very good, imo.

Thanks, mD

ARGH! You can't imagine how many times I've changed my mind in the last few hours. I was just about to call the dealer and go with the black because it's safe. The red is nice but I'm afraid...I have to live with it for 3 years.

I would get it, if I were getting a new X...either that Rose or Tobacco Brown.
Something different, and imo, the Rose would not get old.
But, it's your car. It will be a fine ride, whatever you decide.

mD - The color is actually a little lighter/brighter in person.

I'm a wuss. I'm going to place the order with Black on Black and brushed aluminum trim. That's the same combo I had in the 2010 50i - my favorite vehicle by far.

It's only 3 years!! At least do some nice trim to brighten up the black interior a bit.

I do like the lighter grey headliner with the black interior on the non-sport package cars.
