Since he was putting it together for a 5 series, the wiring harness may or may not be the same, I would have to check the part no. The radio module is definately the ancient kind with the round pin connectors...which will probably not work with the new wiring harness without an adapter. Other pieces like the trim piece is not for the X5, and nor are the installation brackets. Even at $2500, it is way over priced in my opinion! Especially since the parts are used and you don't know for sure whether they work or not. |

It seems like this MKIV unit will not work for an X5.
Good luck to the seller, and please clarify on whether what model it is for. |
