My suggestion is to buy these calipers and then get some cross drilled rotors for a real sharp setup! I would also buy Axxis Deluxe brake pads.....

Would the 4.6iS rotors interfere (clearence) with a winter setup i.e. 18" style 74 wheels? I have the 87's for a summer setup so that is a no brainer.

I would be interested in them if they could.

I've got my 18 inch Moda winter wheels on and all seems to be fine. I think with 17 inch rims you would have an issue. might post the question in the general forum to see what others think!

Let me ask my mechanic and I'll get back to you.

Other than having to purchase new rotors & pads, do you know if it is a straight swap-out with the 4.4 brake setup? Would you know if the brake hydralics are performance on the 4.6iS?

Talking

I believe the brake setups are the same as far as the hydraulics and should be a direct bolt up.

For rotors you might consider the cross drilled rotors from SP Performance about $500 for the four.

For brake pads definitely go with the Axxis Deluxe. The organic compound has virtually zero brake dust.

I can also check with NHT to see if they will give you the same deal on rebuilding / powdercoating the calipers that I got. They did a beautiful job. While the calipers worked well when removed I would either have them rebuilt or checked out by a mechanic just to be safe!! NHT charged me $450 to powdercoat / rebuild & ship.

Let me know your thoughts!!

I can't believe you still have these for sale. Over a year and $200 less. Too bad we couldn't make a deal a year ago, maybe they will still be here next time I need brakes.

FWIW if I didn't need to spend 2k for non-17" wheels and tires on top of the cost of this gear, I would have snatched them long ago. I think the incompatibility with the smaller wheels is off putting to some.
