LOL brave soul you are! Just getting in there is tough work, never mind getting in there and then taking everything apart!

I'm a glutten for punishment www.boisebimmer.webs.com - just a smidge of some of the things I've done lately, and I've got TONS more pics that I haven't even uploaded or sorted throught that I've done over the years before I moved to Boise. I've got to completely reorganize the site once I finally upload everything into more an E** layout instead of customers names.

I haven't gotten around to taking the E53 apart yet. The CCV between my 7 RealOEM.com BMW E38 740iL Crankcase-Ventilation/oil separator and the X RealOEM.com BMW E53 X5 4.4i Crankcase-Ventilation/oil separator are layed out a little differently. Don't ask me where my brain was, but when I hear of smoky startups and misfires, I think of the OSV on the back of the intake manifold itself, not the funnel looking CCV.

To add more confusion, the OSV fails as well http://home.comcast.net/~vicent/osve38.html, http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/49387, http://www.bimmerboard.com/forums/posts/233246 or http://www.magnum1.com/BMW-740/740_P...Cover-740.html

I found a picture w/ a cutaway view of the CCV like RPX5 sold, but I can't find it. I'm searching now...
