One of the reasons we went with the 3.0 was I figured there would be more forced induction options out there. Seems like tuning is the problem. I was told there was no supercharger options available and to make another (E39,E46) kit work would be major issues.

I'm pretty sure the E46 guys could help you immensely if you're considering it. They can point you into cheap turbo options...headers, turbo, ECU tuning either via piggyback (Unichip) or replacement (AEM) to get it running. You've got way more options and support than the 4.4 and up engines.

i have been running in to the same problem cant find any forced induction kits for the x5

I don't think you're going to find pre-made kits...the performance market for X5 can't hold a candle to the 3 series guys, but the fact that you guys share the same motor is a huge step in the right direction. It's going to take some work, but if you'r serious, you could probably have more horsepower for less money than any prefabbed S/C kits out there now. Just my guess.

Im getting an ess tuning supercharger for my M3 and they make one for the X5 as well. Spoke to them last week.
