I've had a few bites, but mofos in NYC want vehicles for free. They do no research on vehicles specifications such as what was factory options vs. modifications. All they seem to do is visit KBB or Edmunds, input vehicles information and get a fair private party paying price. And all this is after you've told them that you are listing it as a fair market value price not adding any modifications you've done. No matter what you tell them about the modifications and show receipts totaling dam near $4k (in my case) they don't believe it and say how much they could've gotten that done for if it was them, so at that point I tell them to kick rocks. Had this one dude from Queens offer me $7,500. I told him the lowest he can drive it home for is $8,000. He told me "let me make some calls and borrow $500"... This was about a month ago!

I bought a 2010 Accord for my wife and now with her off my back about only having one vehicle, I can say that I am leaning towards keeping it (that's if I don't get the urge to upgrade to an E70 or an //M).

Good luck with your sale!

Thx man. I realize I am WAAAY overpriced regardless of how rare or how many mods I have. I'm not in a rush to sell but I DO have one parking space & alternate side parking is annoying enough to make me wanna get rid of it.

I'm going to take a poll on my thread & ask what I should list the asking, and then what I should realistically expect. Thanks for your input and ur welcome to chime in over there as well.

With mine, I thought if push comes to shove in selling I can always part out what I can such as 4.6is spoilers, Rims and also possibly gain some interest for the front skid plate as it is out of production and the BSW Stage 1 speakers. You have a rare fish though since yours is Manual Trans so that should gain more interest from enthusiast.

It's always good to start high and negotiate to a happy medium so my suggestion would be to start $2-3k to a number you're comfortable letting it go and work from there. Also give the options to remove some modifications to accommodate potential buyers budget.

Cisc0 consider me your buyer for the skid plate if you go that route since yes it is out of production!

I'm currently, and have been, going through this for MONTHS. Part it out. Trust me.

I can't even sell my truck for $10,000 - I'm having to resort to CarMax to move her ... for a pathetic $10,000.

Very tasteful exterior transformations, I like the flares and black kidney grills. Where did you buy the specific parts?

Flares are:

Front: OE Euro 4.8is purchased through BMW of Bloomfield part numbers (51717049867, 51717049868)

Rear: OE 4.8is purchased through BMW of Bloomfield part numbers (51717049869,51717049870 and 51127046919,51127046920)

Grilles are OE chrome outter ones wrapped in gloss 3M vinyl by a forum member. You can achieve the black grilles by plasti-dipping the chrome outters and if you want them gloss black, just buy a plasti-dip glossifier.
