Not a whole lot of interest. Am I priced too high? Too many miles? Bad location?

^Most of us on here already own one. Unless someone is looking to upgrade, you have very limited pool of buyers.
Did you try bimmerforums and bimmerfest at least?

Thanks, TMV. I wanted to "keep it in the family" but I guess that is not possible.

Selling my M3 on Bimmerforums was such a nightmare. I had 10 lowballs for every one legitimate buyer. Finally some dude called me, asked about 5 questions, made a full price offer and flew our from Maryland the next weekend????

Cheers,

Thanks. They will put your head through the windshield at 140 MPH. I thought my seatbelt was going to snap when I tried it.

Yeah I think the attraction here is for someone who wants to trade up or upgrade, you may have to do the wheeling and dealing on Bimmerforums and deal with the lowballers until you find the guy who sees the value and pays full price and flies out for the X.

I love your X but I just don't have the extra cash for trade, and although your X is immaculately maintained by you and by your previous BMW tech owner (if I recall correct) the high mileage does deter me somewhat because you can't preventatively predict what will happen on these high performance X's at 150k+, and god knows the 4.6 isn't exactly an engine to get rebuilt easily.

Just my observing opinion, I already drive something very rare so it's not worth it to me trade up for something else that is rare, even if the mods and performance are through the roof (plus my wife would kill me because we are in the middle of doing a shitload of work on the house) If I drove a bone stock run of the mill base modeled 3.0 however, your X makes my pants tighter than a hipster's and I'd be trading up in a second.

It's been a crazy weekend. We had some wild storms in MN. 500,000 without power, myself included. Trees down in my yard. X parked safely the garage

I wanted to clean it out before taking pictures but here you go, just snapped these on my iPhone.

Things worth mentioning about the interior:

Drivers side bolster was professionally "sealed" to avoid additional damage. Just a small spot, they used some clear glue of some kind, which covers the wear section which you can see in white.

All power/heated elements working flawlessly, including rear heat.

The BMW badge on the steering wheel has seen better days. I have a CF badge replacement, but too scared to try to pry off the old badge.

I do not have the original cloth floormats, just the rubber ones.

Drivers side door pull (silver) has some minor chipping, very common.

Passenger side door panel has a small nick where someone shut the seat belt in the door.

Drivers side seat belt does not retract as fast as the rest, but does fully retract.

Otherwise, interior in excellent shape considering the age. I will do a proper photoshoot as soon as I can, maybe this weekend. Sorry for the delay.
