Phil,
I've searched and can't seem to come up with correct info for my little prob.

What must I do or what can I get to 'polish' my windshield? After each wash their seems to be blotches of some sort still on the glass, not to mention an obvious difference where the wiper blades sweep. The side and rear glass is all ok, it's just on the w/screen.

Is their a protective coating on the windshield glass that can not/should not be rubbed off?

Thanks for your time.

sure what type of blotch are you speaking of.

you can clay your windshield then seal it.

but I'm not sure that's your problem.

what type of polishes do you have on hand?

Phil,
Thanks for replying so quickly. Shame you don't have an outlet over here in Oz.

It's a bit hard to explain, but when I finish washing & drying the car (including the glass) I find that the windscreen looks blotchy, like little stains all over the glass about, say 1/4" diam. They are especially evident outside of the wiper sweeps, top, bottom and sides. (Sorry, night time here so pics are no go). I'll try and get pics to you tomorrow if you'd like to see them.

http://www.detailersdomain.com/adams-glasssealant.aspx That Lusso Glass Polish might be what I'm after.

what type of polishes do you have on hand? I have most of the Mothers range, including Sealer & Glaze, Canuba Wax, some Miguiars stuff and the old school Turtle Wax too. Windows are regularly cleaned with a generic glass cleaner - Windex.

Hi Phil-

What can you recommend to clean and protect the black plastic (rubberized?) material that makes up the lower half of the dashboard? Mine has some dirt, grease, and zinc oxide (suntan lotion) on it and I'd like to get it cleaned up.

Also you previously mentioned "no touch laser guided car washes." Where can one find these? Thanks.

you can use

Einszett Cockpit
Sonax Dashboard Cleaner

for the touchless laser guided car washes you might have to google it in your location.

Do I use both and if so which one first?

Great. BTW, I can't recall is there an Xoutpost discount or does it come in the form of occasional special deals?
