trim

The black trim on the top half of the clamshell glove compartment is coming unglued and lifting up making it hard to open the box with only two hands. What glue do you recommend. 2008 X5

it its a 2008 I would bring that back to the dealer and let them fix it.

phil or others, has anyone tried this product sold by Bav Auto?

Aluminum Trim Deoxidizer

Restore oxidized aluminum trim. Simply wet sand using included remover and 2000 grit paper, then use the flow-on applicator to apply the water-based coating. Oxidized look disappears, leaving a shiny, anodized aluminum finish. Comes with instructional video.

ON SALE! $53.95

Hi Phil,

What would you recommend for a '03 X5 with stained carpet? The carpet is grey, but there are some ugly brown-ish stains from mud that has been there for quite a few years.

detailersdomain 08-03-2008 09:04 PM

I would try one of these two products for the carpet:

Einszett Upholstery Cleaner

or Adam's Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner

Hey Phil, I'm pretty close to you and was wondering if Detailer's Domain has a walk-in store? Even a pick-up option?
