Blackberry compatibility
Also, does the address book transfer or do you have to do that manually?

I tested my father's T-Mobile Blackberry 8700 in my car, and it worked perfectly. It will sync the phonebook, but it is handy to set it up to sync only the hotlist, that way it limits the numbers sent to the car and simplifies the address book considerably. The only thing that did not work was display of SMS messages on the nav screen, but hey, few phones do that anyway.

The new blackberry is really cool. It's the size of a Razr, has a camera and a MP3 player.

Very slick. I have not seen anything about the 8100 yet. I have a RAZR now, but I am eagerly seeking my next phone.

It's the one on the right:

Cute crackberry.....more pics and info.
The stealthy BlackBerry Stealth slinks behind the scenes no more. It's the BlackBerry 8100 and it's got a camera, microSD slot, EDGE data, and media playback functionality -- just like we'd expected (so where's the damn WiFi?). This should be due in November on Cingular (no guarantees), but expect an even earlier launch on T-Mo. |

They are saying September 12th it's coming out for T-Mobile. Currently I'm with Cingular and I like them, but T-Mobile is better for Blackberrys. They charge $10 less, and the include a IM client where as Cingular does not.

How did you set it up to only load the hot list into the Car?
Or how would you upload manually?
