I really like mine. Sure it has its little moments, but not nearly as much as my Razr did. I can hear so much better now, and even have better coverage. I love being able to email, text, and Pin all from the same place.

My friend uses his AOL on it and says it works fine. I use mine with my yahoo and gmail. The only odd part is that when I send an outgoing email through gmail, I get the same one right back in my inbox?

The camera is pretty good when you set the resolution higher. And the flash works decently well. No video camera but it does play movies.

All and all good phone. I cant tell you if it would work with the BMW BT, but it did link right up with my friend's new range rover. So close enough right? lol

After being upset that my Blackjack didn't transfer the phone book I picked up the Pearl (Cingular) this week. The pearl works perfectly with our BT system. My phone book transferes seemlessly and a voice mail icon pops up on the nav screen when you have a message waiting, very cool!

I also agree that the phone itself is fantastic. The Blackjack was great but this is better in many ways..

Both my BB 8100 Pearl and BB 8703 work flawlessly with the bluetooth in my X5.

I love my Pearl...but I prefer my 8703 for business due to the full QWERTY keyboard and larger screen (although the Suretype on the Pearl is unbelievably smart).

Thumbs up

Works great in my car. The only thing is that when I used my V600 the green light (on top of the nav) always stayed on showing that the bluetooth was connected. With the 8100 the light only comes on when I'm using it. Also the 8100 has a blinking blue light that tells you that it's connected to the bluetooth.
