Since the 815 is perfect then just buy another one. http://product.ebay.com/Motorola-E81...QsoprZ51471623

My Treo 700W works most of the time but is not perfect. The 815 did work perfect but needs to replaced since it was dropped.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
I can get the a new phone from Verizon for about the same cost as a used 815 on Ebay. So I think I am better off getting it from Verizon.

Just realize that nothings perfect. Most people find a phone they LIKE with bluetooth, do their research then hope for the best.

Why hope for the best when BMW gives a list?

I was "hopping" for more phones to chose from but if only one phone works, so be it.

Try the MOTOKRZR. It just came out a couple of weeks ago. I'm sure it will work, but BMW only updates their list every few months.

LG VX9800 and VX8100 DOES NOT work well at all. It will pair, but then drops all the time.

I paried with a Moto Q and a Audiovox XV6700 PPC, both work great.

I didn't have any luck with Treo 700w, found the BMW Bluetooth, but just wouldn't pair, not sure why.

Any suggestions?
I have the Verizon Treo 650 with the 1.05a upgrade but the bluetooth did not
work well, so I went to shadowmites.com and got the romtool program and two others. I made a copy of my other Treo 650 with 1.04a rom to my PC,
moved the file and then made a copy of my rom and then edited the zip file
and replace the new bluetooth ver with the older version of bluetooth and all
is well, my phone still is 1.05a but I have the old bluetooth which works with my 2005 X-5 with nav.

Sounds like a great fix for the 650.

My Treo 700 W works ok, does not transfer phone book but does link most of the time.
