All kinds of Bluetooth phones work with the BMW Bluetooth systems. If I were you, I would turn the question around... find a BT phone that you like, and then query this forum and the www.bimmerboard.com/forums/bluetooth forum for examples of people who have successfully used that phone with BMW BT.

Sony Ericsson phones probably work the best, since they seem to have the purest implementation of the BT standard. My Motorola RAZR phone is very good, but some carriers lower the BT volume on the phones in their branding. All of the Blackberry BT phones work pretty well too. (I currently use a BB Pearl, and it is fantastic.) I have also seen folks post successes with just about every other phone brand, like Siemens, Nokia, T-Mobile SDA, LG, Palm, Samsung, etc.

The LG vx9800 from verizon has bluetooth

Here are the phones verizon has available sorted by bluetooth. This is based on my zip code, but shouldn't be far off from your selection

Yes Verizon has a number of blue tooth phones but they are not on BMW list of compatible phones. I am not sure if they are fully compatible or is BMW slow updating the list?

Not very well.

I have heard reports that it does not work properly.

That makes about one LG phone that sorta works out of all LG phones... the PM325

I would guess the new MOTOKRZR should work fine since all the other motos seem to work.

So maybe BMW is not slow?

I can't believe I can only buy one phone that will work with the BMW?

My Treo 700W works most of the time but is not perfect. The 815 did work perfect but needs to replaced since it was dropped.
