Advanced Autovations Crooks?

Has anyone had any dealings with Advanced Autovations? I ordered a bluetooth kit and two weeks later nothing. Maybe the two day Fedex shippment I paid for was for two weeks and maybe the unanswered E-mails and full voicemailbox are no reason to be concerned, but I am. I have had no luck with there parent company TV ON NAV either.
If anyone is contemplating Kits from Advanced Autovations or TV on NAV I would, at the very least, wait for my outcome.

I purchased my kit from them back in June for my 530 and had no problems. the shipment arrived promptly. I am actually considering buying another kit for my X5, glad I read your post. Best of luck and I hope you get your kit.

I just got my BT kit from them within the last month. I paid for FedX 2day, and received by the 3rd day. Their follow up can be a bit slow because they are a small operation. Just keep sending them e-mails till they answer. I would demand a refund for the FedX 2 day charge though. If you don't receive any communication from them in the next couple of days, send me a PM, and I'll help you follow up with them if you want.

I paid for 3 day delivery and it arrived, oh... about a month later. Parag, the guy I dealt with there, was a complete jerk. After I complained a few times about not getting the BT kit I sent him an e-mail and was like... I told him he was doing a crappy job running a business. He called me back ON MY CELL PHONE to personally tell me I was a brat and that he'd cancelled my order just because I insulted him. Customer service at its finest. Eventually they called back and said my order was back on, and a few days later I recieved it, and it worked fine.
I've heard many pleased customers before, but I had a bad experience...

I have e-mailed them twice in the past two weeks with a question about the BT install kit for my X5. I have heard nothing from them.

Well I'm back from vacation and I'd like to say thanx for the support and thanx to super G for the offer to help me follow up. While on vacation I continued to call AA with no luck so I canx my payment with my credit card. Yesterday, as luck would have it, the package shows up so today I'm calling to reinstate the charge (minus the $21.75 for 2 day delivery). I had been interested in other products from AA or TVonNAV but wonder will every order take three weeks?
Anyway I write this to say thanx again for the advice and help offered and to those who are thinking of ordering from these company's...beware!!

Glad to hear that you at least received your order. They DEFINATELY need to step up their level of customer service.
