Why do I have a blue tooth pass-card in my glove box?
I don't want or need BT but was wondering why I have a card with BT code key. I don't see the button on the center console so I assume I don't have BT - it has assist though. just curious |

I bet you do have BT built-in, like I do. I think recent models have the BT and Assist in the same module. If you ever decide to use the Bluetooth with a cell phone, you will love it!

If I understand correctly, late 04 got a bluetooth code card as a mistake, I have a late 04 as well (with pan roof) and the card, however i do not have bluetooth.

I also have the BT card in my glove box, it was built 08/04... its was a pre-owned 2004 x3., I want BT but dont see it. I verify that I do have bmw assist, so I do have bT build-in, I think. My question here is how and what do I need to get started with BT?
