what is the deal with eject box mentioned at the very bottom of the document? do we have another eject box from the factory and we need to replace it for models marked with an "*"?

Huh? What do you mean "another eject box" ? I am trying to locate someone who has installed a setup in a E53 from that parts list. So far zero luck.

if you look closely to the document you have published at the beginning of the topic, there is a note at the bottom with a different part number eject box.

this is what I consider "another eject box"

The document gives part numbers for adapters, not eject boxes. At the bottom it is saying that for certain adapters you will need a specific eject box.
