No Sound. Please help!
Frustrated I took my X5 to the dealer and $145 later they told me that my TCU was bad?????? Well, I looked around and I was told that the TCU was the ULF….. So I purchased a second ULF and installed it. No success… I also read that a plug in the back of the radio could cause no sound.. Is this right? I need to find a thin t-10 torx wrench to get behind the radio. So I thought I would see if anyone knew if this was right before going any further…. What could possibly cause this? Could the jumper plug be bad? There was one installed and I purchased one. I tried both. I tried two different ULFs with no success.. Please help. Thank you! |

Verifying the plug in the back of the radio is the first thing I would check. See this article for details - http://www.xoutpost.com/showarticle-169.html
By the way, this is a TSB that the dealer should be well aware of and should have checked this before telling you that your ULF was bad. ![]() :welcome: to X5world.
