No Sound. Please help!

Hello Everyone... I need some help. I have an ’02 x5 with no nav and no dsp… The production date was 4/02. Well I have installed a BT retro kit about 4-months ago and could not get a sound when I paired my v710 and chalked it up to the phone. Recently, I switched service to cingular and I purchased a Nokia 6310i. I paired with my fingers crossed and still no sound...

Frustrated I took my X5 to the dealer and $145 later they told me that my TCU was bad?????? Well, I looked around and I was told that the TCU was the ULF….. So I purchased a second ULF and installed it. No success…

I also read that a plug in the back of the radio could cause no sound.. Is this right? I need to find a thin t-10 torx wrench to get behind the radio. So I thought I would see if anyone knew if this was right before going any further….

What could possibly cause this?

Could the jumper plug be bad? There was one installed and I purchased one. I tried both.

I tried two different ULFs with no success..

Please help. Thank you!
