What I meant by this statement is the Motorola BT/Assist module will work in an X5 from 03/04 production and on, not that the module that is there will work. 2004's built past 03/04 can get BT/Assist only if they swap their TCU with a 2005 unit. 2004's built pre-03/04 can still get BT if they use the Visteon BT module, but they will lose Assist.
