White05X3 is on a distinguished road
XM in 05 X3 with Nav and DSP

I spoke with the tech from Blitzsafe. He was surprised to learn that I have the 3 and 6 pin connectors in the center console. He thought his adapter should work with XMDirect.

So I plugged it in and... nothing. The stereo believes there is something there. I say this because when I press the mode button it toggles between radio, CD and one other selection (which just shows the last track the in-dash CD was on). However there is no sound and no change of display on the other selection.

He guessed it might have something to do with the settings in the stereo. Perhaps it is not set to USA? Anybody know how to access that menu on the 05 with nav? I read the article on accessing the hidden menus... does that work on my car too?

Any other ideas why the adapter does not work on my car?

Thanks!
