Hey gang,
I posted this elsewhere and got nowhere... Maybe you guys might have some input (no pun intended )I installed my aux input today. However, I lost voice instructions from my NAV (the British lady), and I have no sound when I use my phone (Bluetooth). I followed someones instructions about removing the old 12-pin connector from the radio harness, and putting in the new aux input 12-pin connector into the harness. The old 12-pin that I removed had 4 wires going into it (yellow, yellow/black, yellow/brown, and yellow/red). I'm guessing those are for my Bluetooth and the NAV's voice instructions. Does someone have intructions on how to install Aux input with NAV and BT? Do I have to put the aux input wires into the existing 12-pin? Also, the kit that I bought from my dealer (hate them) came with instructions for an X5 and 3-series. Maybe if someone has a copy of the X3 instructions, that would help! Thanks for reading!
