IceLink Text Display And Lag??

I setup the Icelink so that the text can be displayed and for about 60% of the mp3's I have it does show up however for the others there's no display at all. After researching I figured out some of the mp3's I had did not have any tags in the "view file info"...so I edited it and inputed the Artist and Title name however it wasn't completely successful and some did show up while others still were not. Is this just a defect or can anyone suggest what else I can do??

Also...I didn't have this problem before, but when I am switching playlists it takes about 3 seconds to switch. Before it would switch right away but now when I try to swap there's a 1 second pause then the music continues then it switches playlists..it's so annoying!!!! aaahhhhh ....any advice or help would be appreciated

HI I wonder if it is the same problem that can get with Ipods there seems to be 2 tags with each file and windows uses one and Ipods use the other. I understand that there are progs around that allow you to sync the 2 versions.

Thanks John. I did figure out the text problem..I had to edit the info tag when the mp3's were loaded on Itunes...as for the lag I still cannot figure out what is causing it...I asked Tom so hopefully he'll have an answer
