You're plugging into existing wiring in the vehicle that is already connected to the head unit. There is no reason to touch the radio.

Press CD #6, the first selection that appears is "Artist". You can browse by Artists, Albums and Playlists. This is provided you have activated ID3 text on the NAV or OBC display.
