some serious help neede =\
hi i drive a X5 3.0 (stock) 01. anyways 2 days ago (raining all day, 54 degrees F) i was driving home from school when i hit a small bump while listening to a cd. immediately after hitting the bump no sound came out of the speakers but the unit was still on. frantically i took the cd out and turned to a radio station, getting the same result: unit is on, but no sound is comming out. after i got home i turned my radio off , and my car which both failed to do anything. so i drove to my office (about 20 miles away on the highway) and in between sound would come on, just like if i turned the unit off and on (which was turned on. THATS WHEN I NOTICED THAT if i turned the unit off for a period of time and then i turned it on it would work for a while and die out like a battery would. i also noticed static like noise that would be the same volume even if i had it it all the way down. now after 2 days the unit works fine cept my front passanger side when playing music that contains base at all. (which is everything) it makes some weird static LIKE noise which im guessing is because something is lose there making the speaker not vibrate incorrectly. i really have no idea in speakers or audio mainly because of my age thanks for ure time in advance someone said it could be- because of something could have gotten wet or something, not sure though |

Sounds to me like when you hit a bump, some wires came loose and you don't have a very good connection.

Have you looked for water with the damned flashlight yet? Or are you still posting first?
