Interface arrival..

Well the interface arrived yesterday...

Could not wait to get it going so long story short it is in and fully functional...

Some observations on installation:

1) The XM Direct unit and interface DO not fit under the metal trim that would hold the CD changer...I placed them all forward of the rail basically underneath the cupholder...

2) navigating the channels is a little bit of a bear as there is no direct entry that I can find...so pick you favs and set them in mem...then use the other channel mems to set points in the channel list so you can get to the channel nums quicker...(it really needs direct entry somehow )

3) It is VERY DIY....and very straightforward...

Thanks a bunch Tom @ EAS.....!!

Thanks for the feedback.

I wish Sirius alone had the direct entry, neither XM or Sirius offer this - you just have to hold down on the steering wheel control for seeking. Otherwise, this is one of the easiest installs you can do on the X3.
