FloydUK is on a distinguished road
retrofit Nav with Cassette to Nav with CD

Hi,

I have an e46 facelift 300Ci Conv. with SatNav + TV. To install an ICELiNK Plus I sacrificed the multi-changer in the boot. Thus leaving me with a Cassette head-unit that will never see a tape and no way of playing CD's. If I wanted to replace the cassette component with a CD player, would I need to have the entire unit replaced (inc. screen etc.) or is the tape/CD unit modular and would easily swap out?

Cheers

Floyd
