1. Check the inline fuse on the Trunk Wiring harness to see if it has blown. 2. Remove the battery cables (tough to do in the X5) or simply remove the radio fuses in the glovebox fuse panel for about 3-5 minutes. 3. Check the module itself to see if it possibly has shorted out.
