xh108 install problem
Thanks, Gary PS. Also, I'm having some problems finding a place to mount the amp. There's certainly enough room behind the cover because I don't have DSP/CD Changer but it looks the amp is too small for the hole. Do I need to mount it to a plate that then mounts to the body? |

All done... I was able to figure out the wiring. Amazing sound and I did it all without drilling any holes in the body. Has anyone done the Stage 1 upgrade in addition to the xh108? Just windering how much better it could get.
Cheers, Gary |

People without dsp who have upgraded to the stage 1 upgrade love it.
Not so sure about people with dsp. |

I mounted it in the compartment on the drivers side. I mounted the amp on a piece of sheet metal and then attached that to bolt that goes through the factory amp at the bottom and then a bolt at the top.

Where is a common place to get sheet metal? Is there a certain thickness\type I need to look for?

I apologize for the missing picture. Can you please take a picture of the installation manual you received so I can remedy this situation?
The stage 1 also performs just as well with the DSP eqiupped vehicles. Installation will be similar and take no more or less time. Results will also be similar in terms of sound quality gained.

I got my sheet metal from Lowes. It was about 1/2mm thick...the piece was 12x18 and only cost $5. I used my Dremmel tool to cut it to shape/size.
