The 12" in the vented enclosure was an experimental setup from my previous vehicle. I built that box to see how vented vs. sealed sounded. The big box slams.

The 10" is a Diamond Audio D3 that I just picked up this week. The bass is tight, musical, and plays with authority. Not as boomy as a vented 12. The Diamond will be the permanent sub.

is there some way to put it in the panel with the fuses? or do you already have a subwoofer there?

That's the plan (eventually). The nice thing about the 10" is that it does not take up much space. The box is only .65 cu ft. It has a very nice sound and blends well with my mostly stock system.

I am using a Peripheral SVEN4 to get my line signal. I have no issues with whine or dimming. Don't know if its possible to dim Xenons.....
