Absolutely. From September 2005 is when Audiotext was introduced for the BM53.

Will 65 12 6 976 962 work on my '01 X5 with the appropriate converters?
I have already upgraded to 16:9/MK4 nav.

I found this adapter 61 12 6 913 957, I guess it will work on my car....
