Question Jl audio

if you use JL Audio's Cleansweep will you get to keep 6 cd changer and the ipod?
I have 06 X5 4.4i w/ nav

The CS will tie in somewhere between your head unit and amp. You will lose the stock amp, but not the changer or iPod input. Do a search for cleansweep, it is probably not the best option.

What are you trying to do? you can add amps to the stock nav headunit with out a cleansweep as long as you do not have DSP. If you have DSP you will need the cleansweep.

Search for the threads from el_duderino that detail how to get a flat, line-level output from the stock HU/radio module even with DSP. Cleansweep could be used, but is not needed at all.
