Speaker upgrade
I am going BSW stage-1 upgrade for 2004 BMW X5 non-dsp. But I already have JBL GTO-627 speakers 4pcs. WHat you recomend : order full upgrade from BSW or use JBL for mid-bass? I just found http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...hn+AMD60Q.html, what you think? IKA Last edited by ika; 12-02-2007 at 08:03 AM. |

As I know BSW midbass speaker is not excelent option.
I am thinking JBL GTO-627(already have) or Infinity Kappa 63.7i 6-1/2" 3-Way . Need your help to choose. |

You will have problems with any aftermarket speakers due to the fact that the stock amp does not supply adequate power. The BSW package is specifically meant to be a plug and play solution. If you want other aftermarket speakers, and you are willing to install an aftermarket amplifier, there are many speaker sets that are better than the ones you mention. The Infinity Kappas have good reviews, but you will need an aftermarket amp to get the full potential.
