Same experience here. I've been using it for a week, and it's working great. I had become frustrated as the previous firmware was not working as expected. But wow does it work great now. This is how an ipod interface should function.

Thanks Tom and Dension.

To add some additional informtion, in addition to fixing some of the known bugs, the new version also adds some cool capabilities such as being able to put the unit into Artist mode or Album mode, just to name a few. This is done right from the BMW controls (steering wheel and/or radio). So now, in addition to being able to set up playlists which are assigned to presets 1-5, you can put it in a mode to listen to songs from a chosen artist or album (all of which you can select using the BMW controls).

Very cool indeed

AWESOME!!! FINALLY!!! It works the way it should... I was about one week away from demanding a refund. The intermittement turnoffs, reading the display from the tiny OBD, the lag time btw entering commands and it showing up on the screen was driving me CRAZZZZZZY!

But now, ahhhhhhhhhhhh.... this is how it's suppose tro work... THANK YOU!

Scrolling through all my artists is painful. We need a screen popup that allows you to choose a letter, which will jump to that "section"... like the phone does.

Also, using more of the screen would be great... like the area where Sirius writes song info. How about a list of songs in the playlist.

nitpicking, I know.

i agree that it would be so cool if you could do selection similar to how the nav system works to select destinations. But progress is being made, and at least it's now stable enough to use

Agreed 100%, It was not very usable before the DB2 version.

First, NO MORE DROP OFFS!!!! It was really getting to be a PITA but no more.

Second, I have the text display on the Nav Screen. The song title is in big font size but the artist(s) is in small font size. Is there any way to make the artist's name the same size as the song title????

*I agree, it would be cool if we could see the playlist on the nav screen. Currently, it just shows the artist name and song title on the top of the screen. Underneath is blank and SHOULD at least be occupied with a Playlist.

It appears that the font size reduces automatically if the title can not fit w/o scrolling. If that is the case, I think it was a good decision.
