What is the year, model, and build date of your car? You may be able to use the radio's Aux input, depending on what you have.

Zune Integration

Brian, I have a 2001 X5 with navigation system and a CD changer. I know BMW dealers sell an aux kit for about 40 bucks, I am not sure if there is a 3 pin behind the radio, otherwise from what I have seen I would lose the CD changer, connect the 3 pin wire into the BMW aux and route it to the front of the car..... I was hoping to see if any of the electronics shops had something for a zune.. some shops are saying they will have some by this summer.... I guess Ipods rule the world... talk about a monoply

Based on the year of your car, you do not have as many cheap and easy options. You do not have the pre-wiring for the OE Aux, but you could retrofit it.

Option 1) upgrade your radio to a "new gen" radio with the aux input, and install the aux input adapter.

This would be moderately expensive just to get an aux input. But, it would also move you closer to making your car Sirius ready, and you could upgrade your CD changer to get full MP3 support.

Option 2) Get one of the generic aux inputs that replaces the BMW CD changer. This would be very inexpensive, but you would lose your CD changer.

I do not know of any options that would let you control a Zune from the BMW screen
