Okay, so there is no way to find songs using the ipod and have text displayed?

With the previous Generation DICE module, yes. The new SILVERLINES lock the iPod's Clickwheel to offer more features at the integration level.

If you would simply like to swap your module for the previous generation - we have some in stock, let me know.

I had the same problem - the tech from dice had me reverse the position of the dip switches and reinitialize. When that didn't change operation of the unit I switched them back - the Dice unit began working as it should, with text on the displays. I assume that perhaps the switches weren't fully seated in the on position.

I also noted that once it started working the ipod controls were locked out and the steering wheel and radio controls worked as expected. The Ipod screen will show a dice logo.

dice silverline malfunction

i just installed my dice on my 04 cooper s and it automatically puts my ipod into shuffle and repeat mode everytime i turn on the car...can anyone help me with this??

Yes - there is a specific firmware fix for this. If purchased from us, please contact me via email and I'll make arrangements to have the module updated for you.
