Intravee is great, and RichardP is the best support I have ever seen. Wish they would release v6 of the code, so that I can get my XM through the Intravee. I am still using an FM modulated Pioneer with a little display tacked in front of the shifter. Yikes. What would be really neat is if NavCoder and Intravee joined forces. After all, Intravee connects to the IBus, and has a serial connection, and can send messages on the IBus. How about it, Simon and KiwiJochen?

Yeah, Intravee claims they have proto code that will control an Alpine XM tuner, and provide all the great data that they do with NAV and the Ipod. I already bought the Alpine box, and I am waiting for the code update to try it. Right now its buggy and they won't release it. Soon, very soon!

I have multiple family members with XM, so we get the volume discount. My car was pre the Sirius wiring days, and I like the Intrvee interface, so I will happily wait until they ship v6, and hope it supports XM.

Finally got my intraveee. It took longer to find the CD changer cables than to install the intravee. I'm still working through some technical difficulties though.

For all you intraveee users, did you all mount the intravee, alpine kca420i & te ipod all inside the rear cargo compartment along with your navigation units? I wonder if it gets too hot in there for the ipod.

I have mine located back in the rear cargo compartment with my navigation unit and I don't have any heat-related issues.

I mounted the Alpine piece and Intravee in the amp/cd changer area. I mounted the IPOD externally on the door that covers that amp area using velcro. I use my Ipod at the gym so this way it's easy to disconnect when I get to the gym.
