Dice Silverline - Strange Issues

Tom,

Thanks again for the quick shipping on my Dice Silverline. I installed it in my 2001 X5 today, and ran across some issues I haven't seen before in other posts. After connecting the battery back up, I took it for a spin and everything worked great. After I shut it off for 20 minutes (key out) the display wouldn't show up in the dash. I tried disconnecting the battery several times, but it seemed like I could only get it to work on the radio. After futzing around for several hours, I found if I pressed disc 6 and clicked the up arrow on the stearing wheel several times it would dispay core 1.4.00, when I selected disc 1 at this point everything worked.. Was this normal? Also, while going through several other modes on disc 6 it would show ? and *, but if I pressed disc 6 they would show up normal... Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks
JD
