Depends on where you're going to mount it. Wire length really isn't an issue since all JL uses is a regular phone cable from what I can tell/remember. I hope to get some time in the garage this week so I'll try and take some pictures.

Any updates on your progress, Ekaz?

Anyway, there's a link below for the semi-crappy picture I took at 1AM today. The 4-channel at the top of the picture isn't hooked up yet as I still have the project of installing the LC-6 and JL Cleansweep. The only part working right now is the sub, I was getting tired of driving around with no bass.

Any suggestions on where to mount the LC-6 or CS? I was thinking along the sides by the spare tire.

Thanks!

I have everything to do it but haven't had the time. Sorry. I doubt I'll get much done before the meet next week, but plan on going full-bore once I get back.

Not a huge update, but I did get the "cover" for the amps. I have it in the X but the pictures came out bad and I have to remount the smaller amp as it's sitting crooked in the opening. But anyway, here's the pic:

Nice. How do you make that JL logo look so neat? Did you just paint it or is there some kind of template that you use? By the way, any progress of where to install the the RBC-1 knob yet?

Justin.

A friend of mine cut the JL logo out of a piece of vinyl, so we used that as a template. The color is a custom mix of the 381 Lemans Blue on the rest of it and some MINI CooperS silver (whatver colot that is). The RBC is going to be installed under the dash by the hood release or in the center console. I haven't completely made up my mind yet. As soon as I pick one spot, I consider another. Any suggestions?

I am think of the center console where the ash tray is. I don't smoke so it should not matter much. Also, I am also thinking of putting my Ipod Nano there once I get the Icelink installed. I am still deciding of whether making a plate (like one of the X5 did on this site, I think it's Janix's X5), except it only will cover 1/3 of the ash tray and leave the rest of the space for the Nano; OR drill a whole on the ash tray itself. Nice cover JL

Justin.

Ekaz,
Are you replacing your speakers too? If yes, what kind do you use?

Justin.

Sorry for the late reply. I just got in from Vegas. I am replacing the speakers with Dynaudios. I'm determined to replace the ones in the dash so we'll see what happens.

Eric, What speakers do you plan to use to replace rear woofers and tweeters?
I assume your configuration is or will bypass the stock DSP amp, right?
