I believe mine makes the same noise you're refering to (this is in addition to the engine noise). Is it a clicking or static type noise? Mine is horrible, some songs seem to be worse than others.

Does the noise change when the headlights are on/off or when the iPod's backlight is on/off?

I have the same problem. I went through 3 DICE units. I have yet to take it to a Installer but I did purchase a noise filter from EAS. I installed it myself but I hasnt made a difference. I may have done something wrong. When I turn my headlights on the buzzing gets louder. When i step on the gas it seems to get softer. Any ideas?

There is an open ground somewhere in your system that needs to be detected.
