Thanks Essam..

The box in the other post, has it bigger in volume then yours.?

Also, do you recommend 11,5cm all the way over.?

Thanks again.

yes the other box has more volume...

as for the depth, you can make it angled... 11.5 at the near end behind the tail light and 13.5 at the far end

More volume is usually preferred to get a "fuller" bass sound.. But there is'nt any measures on that page, so i'll guess im going for your design..

As i understand you are quite happy with it.?

I did some calculation, and using 0.8 plates on front and back, 1.8 on the sides.

With 11,5 all the way, i got a volume of 8.15 litres..

Does that sound right.? Its a bit less then preferred, is'nt it.?

Just do the box and you will like the sound ... dont bother with calculations

Since I am reading this, I'll share my experience. I did mine 11.5 straight across because I thought there wasn't enough volume to be gained to make an angled one necessary.

It would be interesting to build a series of boxes in bigger and bigger sizes. They wouldn't fit, but the sound comparisons might be meaningful. Or not. I have the feeling that there is a difference between the small size we have been making and the optimum size. However, it might not be noticeable unless you do an A B comparison.

Hi Carlgo.

What about the sound from your box.?

Happy enough..?

Im thniking about just doing the 11,5 straight over to reduce the work..
