It is the snap & crimp connectors ... it was not giving a connection at all because I found out it was designed for a bit thicker cable.

I made a normal "T" to the same pairs I mentioned earlier and everything went fine!

You wanna know how it sounds? It's WWOOOWWW! I was absolutely, completely, and totally amazed by the deep and rock solid bass coming from this shallow sub in this tiny enclosure! ... I wish if it was possible to take a picture of the sound

Here is a final pic for the sub in place...

^^You can post a video of sound.
Is the sub enclosure loose at bottom? I know someone had also done this and his enclosure was at an angle.

The box has some spaces around it at the botton which I filled with sound deading materials to isolate the wood from the metal. I did not allow any touch between the wood and the metal car body as this will cause rattles in bass sound.

As for the video, do you think it will bring the real sound? I will try anyway.

Nice job. It is time for me to get rid of my free-standing box. And I have a metric tape measure that I got for a project awhile back. I might line the box with sound deadening and will probably get an recessed wire connecter for that final touch.

Now that you are done, would you change any of the enclosure's dimensions?

You are right... It is it's older brother. The amp does 1x 1500W RMS @ .01thd Little much for that sub but I keep the gain a bit down

for a perfectly tight fit there are enough angles to make even the most talented carpenters cringe. I sold my box with the car, but this time around I will be getting the JL box. just not worth the headache for me.
