Connect the charge converter at the other end of the extension cable and tuck it out of site.

awesome, i've been wondering if this was possible... i like the idea of the intravee (which i already have), but the dock in the ashtray is perfect, as sometimes we play video off the ipod, and i dont like having to keep swapping out the ipod from the rear to the front each time i want to listen or watch something... nice work
