Alpine S634 questions
I have a 01 X5 with DSP no Nav and Cd-Changer. I would like to upgrade the changer so that it can play mp3's. The Alpine S634 is what I have found. One is this a just plugin play installation? Or do I need an adapter (blitzsafe? soundgate?) Does this support mp3 tags across my radio too? Thanks for the help love the forum

You will need an adapter. Both Soundgate and BlitzSafe provide adaptors to connect the Alpine CHA-S634 CD changers to the BMW pre-wire factory CD changer connector in the trunk.
