Is there a way to adjust the mic gain on the mediabridge? We installed it last weekend in our 2005 x3 and placed the microphone in the spot where the factory installed microphone was supposed to go. While the clarity of the mic is excellent, we aren't having much luck with "volume". When you are talking on the phone via the mic it sounds like you are on a speaker phone in a very large conference room or something. No echos, just a tiny little voice that sounds far away.
Is there a way to increase the gain on the mic so you are louder when talking on the phone? Thanks. |

This is just a bump to remind all the MediaBridge owners to update their firmware... lots of good changes in the past few months!

Mediabridge doesn't recognize Bluetooth or displays songs
Hello All. I have just installed the MB 1500 in my 2001 (oct) X5 3.0 which has the 16.9 screen.
It recognizes my iphone and can play music from my phone. However it won't recognize my bluetooth nor will display the song tracks on the display on the head unit. Really keen to get the bluetooth going so I can make calls from my phone. Can someone please describe how to set up the bluetooth pairing. When I press the mode on the radio the only selections I get are Radio / CD / tape No Mediabridge. Any help would be appreciated. |

I recently installed the Mediabridge 1500 in my 2001 X5. Business CD Headunit without DSP. Sometimes when I turn on the car, and press "CD" to select "USB" or "Bluetooth", nothing happens. It won't pair with my phone, nor will it appear to charge or recognize my iPod Touch if I plug it into the connector. It's as if the Mediabridge is Off or hung. When it gets to that state, the only thing I can do to bring it back is to go to the back of my X5 and disconnect/reconnect the 3-pin cable on the Mediabridge unit.
Any ideas what the problem could be? Do you think I have a faulty MediaBridge? When I attempted to update the Mediabridge Firmware, I was alerted that I have the latest FW. Thanks in advance! |

Tom,
Got my MB1500 back in Feb...and has been working great. This week, I noticed that the MB is not working. When I enter my vehicle, my blackberry gives me the signal that "media bridge connection failed"...and when I press the stereo mode button...it does not go to AUX. Any trouble shooting tips for me? |
